Snow! in Dallas!

Revel in the 1 1/2" of snow that got Dallas children a day off from school. Hah!

Taken last night.

It's ice, not snow! Snow is.. fluffier... I literally have four inches of ICE on my drive way right now. I love this.

ooooh pretty! i'd love to see the pictures you could take up here (and out in the country) where we get enormous wild drifts. very pretty; very hard to drive in.
visit me next winter, and bring your camera ^_^

Pulling the garbage can up the slope of my driveway was fun. I had to hack footholds in the ice with my heel. If I didn't, the garbage can dragged be back down towards the street.

I've got to agree with my fellow Northerners that one and a half inches is a pretty pathetic snowfall. Madison has only gotten one snowfall larger than that so far this year, and we think that this winter is pretty wimpy. Darn Global Warming!

But your photography is as always gorgeous. I'm glad you got some snow so that you could take all these lovely pictures.

Quite lovely! I especially like the chairs, and the footprints. Sad little dimples in the snow they are (not REAL snow prints) but they look dern cool.
