Yay! Celebrate September 19th with everyone's favourite swashbuckler, ~~Errol Flynn~~ ~~Jack Sparrow~~ Kurt Wagner. This was just done as a costume study for a later CG, which is why the stance is so weird and the proportions are off. And why he only has one arm. *blinks* Yeah.

Gah, it's been far too long since I've played with colored pencils.

I really like his hand. And those feet are insanely fun to draw!

I can only se one thing that's wrong wih this drawing: Nightcrawler has no ordinary eyes! they're yellow and hollow. But, since this is study for a costume, then I gues it doesn't really matter. ^^

I was veering towards the Movie version, where he has more-or-less normal eyes, but they're yellow. I drew them in before I decided to color it, and I considered going back and changing them, but I was lazy. :D

You're such a fangirl :D :D The pirate bit works for him, though. Hey - he's kinda patriotic. Red, white and (most obviously) blue! Crazybeans.

You should leave him armless and give him a hook. No arm, just a shoulder and a hook. I would laugh. Very hard.

Your boy angst, and talk about how to know what he's thinking, reminds me a bit of the song "Tiger Woods" by Dan Bern, by-the-completely-irrelevant-way. Except instead of "ignoring you" it's "being nice to you." Yes. I'll go away now.

Hey Pris --

Just saw your link to this from your ninemuses blog. Sorry I didn't comment sooner -- it never came up on my LJ and I haven't been to your ninemuses in ages because for some reason it won't load on my 14.4 sad-ass modem.

Anyway.

Loff for Pirate Kurt :D What a doofusy grin on his face, he's all "HAHA I'm a pirate with a TAIL!" The only issue I have with it is that it's sort of fuzzy, which may have been a choice -- or perhaps I'm just used to your CGI stuff so seeing actual coloured pencils is a novelty I'm unused to.

Anyway, I loves it, and I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner!
