Three Faces of X... men?

Our final Digital Design Foundations assignment for the year, called "Three Faces of X," was to create three 10"x10" images of the same object in Painter 6. The only object in my room interesting enough was the rosary I used for my Nightcrawler costume last Halloween, but I didn't tell the professor of its origin, so now he probably thinks I'm a devout Catholic. Hahaha. Oh well, what he doesn't know can't hurt him, and if it gets me some quick and easy religious imagery while I'm at it, then on with the show!

... I am a sad and pathetic person, aren't I?

Oh well. It's actually kind of fun to wear around, through my beltloops like movie!Kurt. It's quite stylish. Mmm, gotta love the reduction of profoundly symbolic religious objects into fashion accessories.

Rosary #2 -- Painter and Photoshop
Rosary #3 -- Painter, with teensy Photoshop touchups

The second two used the airbrush tool almost entirely, and the first used watercolor for the background and... I don't remember what for the beads. Pencil for the cross and links.

Just a fellow Kurt Wagner fan who really enjoys your art. I finally decided to stop lurking and make a comment :)
