The people who made this have jobs. Priscilla does not.
*boggles*

Well, at least the writing is good.

Wretched? It was brilliant! I loved the art. Esp. the backgrounds. I want to draw bgs like that.

I was wondering if I could use some of your work for my MSN group. It's in need of...something.

And those pics you displayed ARE INCREDIBLE!
So, I would give all credit to you, offcourse, but I won't do it without permission.

Regardless, I love it! How many pages is this thing? It's quite a task.

Oh, no credit should go to me; all I did was scan the pages. The art is my Graham Higgins, with text by Terry Pratchett, adapted by Stephen Briggs. This isn't fanart! It's from a published graphic novel (122 pages to answer your question). L14.44 at Amazon UK. Sorry if I made this unclear in my post!

Ah, for a minute, you were one very famous artist!

Hehe, it was a misunderstanding (probably more on my part), but thanks for the link and I can now credit the rightful people.

(although, I may want to use some of your fanart perhaps in the future....)

Ah, well!

**chuckling**

"Hilariously wretched" is an apt description!

Both Vimes and Carrot look too thuggish--too Arnold Schwartzenegger. Somehow I think Vimes should look more like Harrison Ford. Or Viggo Mortenson. Or Ewan McGregor. But not Arnold Schwarzenegger. And Carrot...I don't know what actor Carrot should look like. I think the way Alicey draws him captures him pretty well *grin*.

"wretched" indeed! ^_^ I'm glad they at least read the descriptions, but I like the fanart I've seen much more. We ought to make our own one.

*blushes* I don't think it's that... bad. But then, I'm used to horrible comicbook art.

Question for you, though-- if I wanted to read about the Guard, where should I start? Discowrl is so frickin daunting, sometimes...

Start with "Guards! Guards!". Or because that one is sometimes hard to find, "Men at Arms" makes a good starting point, as well.

Wheee!

Oooh, thank you for these! But... blergh. Carrot is aaaall wrong. So is Sybil, who is certainly not tall enough, and the hair should be about ten times bigger. Also, I can`t stop giggling at Vetinari`s haircut. Vimes is not bad, if a bit too Hollywood action hero-ish. And no, the art is not bad, but come on... many people online (you included, of course) could do much much better. Soo, should we adapt the "Captain is such a dashing title..." scene to comic book format? Because I would love to! :D

Re: Wheee!

*laughs* Excellent. This should be fun... *prepares pencil*

It`s your fault (and Pratchett`s) if Santa Fe never gets done, though... ;)
