New art! A collab with the exhalted

glockgal, part of her Made We Perfectly Pretty project. Hurrah! Apologies for the crazy lateness. In exchange, she drew me River, Simon, and Kaylee. SQUEE!

I'm rather pleased, as this represents my first deliberate attempt at limiting tonal ranges. Like on Lily and Peter? The lighting is still overly dramatic, alas, but oh well. I'm happy. Yay, tree shadows! Also, the liquify tool is unbelievably handy. Mmm, liquify tool.

Um... register to vote! Support John Kerry! The Marauders compel you to, or something. Yeah.

Bliss! The perfect union of talents! As for the light, I don't think it looks overly dramatic at all, try 'perfect'. Anyway, I love how incredibly un-forced the whole thing looks, both the lineart and the CGing. My favorite part is the blanket, I think. You can really see it's being, like, kept up by the fresh grass, if you know what I mean.

Okay, so I'm going to admit I looked at this before at the computer lab, and I could barely see Peter and Lily, and I was going to say, WTF, that's SO not Priscille-quality work, but I guess the resolution was screwed up on those computers, because WOW. I'm glad I waited to comment. That's amazing, you did a beautiful job with the colors, and I love the blanket. Wonderful.
