Update glee!

Finally! I spent the day working on the revamp of the tnm.n photographic gallery, and I just now finished! Well, I'm going to go back and add comments to some images and individual galleries, but it's more or less done. So yay!

Check it out -- the vast majority the 2004 images are new to the web!

Oh. Wow. Just... wow.

I don't want to go back and gush about the ones that I've seen (except to say I love the cows so so so much), so I'll just talk about the new ones.

The Clan Tynkers series has this amazing dreamlike quality to it, the way you've captured that is something that I haven't seen accomplished by some professionals. The faces, the angles, even just the shadows... I don't know how to explain it, but wow. You're amazing. My favorites from that are the ones of the woman in red playing the concertina. Her face really captures the surreality of the whole series, and the use of color really just sticks out.

Flamenco is incredibly sexy, but a very subtle and teasy sort of sexy. You've I think done justice to the dance. I love the ones where you can see the shadow of the girl's shawl on her skin, it's a beautiful pattern and it makes the picture just that much more interesting. I love the little details like that.

Sisters is adorable. Really it's one of those emotional things that I can't explain very well, but it really got to me, especially the first one of them holding hands. Very simple and understated but beautiful.

I love your use of lenses, too! And color, you're got a good eye for when to use color and what to focus on, and when to do black and white. That's especially evident in the Clan Tynkers pictures.

Anyway, I'm sorry to've gone on so long, but excellent.

Your photos are gorgeous; you really have a wonderful creative eye. (Speaking as a Spanish teacher, I must say that I especially love the Flamenco shots. Really beautiful!)

I adore the Dark City ones in particular. And the sister ones were lovely as well. :)
